What's new to the 2025 Chevy Equinox
The Chevy Equinox is full redesigned for the 2025 model year. The 2025 Chevy Equinox features a new exterior and interior while keeping its previous engine. The 2025 Chevy Equinox reduces its trim lineup to three levels: LT, RS, and ACTIV. The 2025 Chevy Equinox offers an all-new 11.3-inch diagonal infotainment touchscreen, an 11-inch diagonal driver information display, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, in-vehicle 5G Wi-Fi hotspot functionality, wireless charging, and built-in Google functionality. The RS trim boasts a careful blend of interior and exterior upgrades. The RS trim comes standard with heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a flat-bottom steering wheel, RS debossed front seat head restraints, and a unique RS grille. The top-level ACTIV trim comes with a variety of near-luxury interior features along with impressive adventure features. The ACTIV trim adds roof rails, all-terrain tires, Evotex/sueded microfiber seating surfaces, and an optional two-tone white roof.
Performance
The latest model year of the 2025 Chevy Equinox comes standard with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that makes 175 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. There's also a modified version of this standard engine that's available, which provides 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque (all-wheel drive variant). The entry-level engine pairs with a continuously variable transmission while the all-wheel drive variant comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Technology
The new Chevy Equinox ensures modern connectedness thanks to standard features like a touchscreen display, smartphone connectivity, and an audio system. The new Chevy Equinox makes an 11.3-inch touchscreen display standard along with smartphone connectivity. Wireless charging is optional.
Exterior Features
The Chevy Equinox offers a variety of exterior features that range from utility to aesthetic in nature. The Chevy Equinox offers optional exterior features like adventurous appearance package, all-terrain tires, a uniquely tuned suspension, a two-tone roof, and various exterior performance upgrades. The RS trim offers exterior features like black emblems and badging, 19-inch machined wheels, unique lower fascia and black grille, and black roof rails/ mirror caps.
Interior Features
Interior features are robust, with even the base LT trim coming standard with heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. Interior features vary, with the Activ trim offering unique interior trim and accents along with Maple Sugar and black interior themes and premium Evotex trim. Optional interior features include heated/ventilated front seats and heated rear outboard seats.

Safety
The 2025 Chevy Equinox makes an entire suite of driver assistance features standard.
